CompuMess Elektronik GmbH distributes measurement instrumentation, systems and electronic devices for OEM applications in Germany. The company's objective is to offer products in the analog and digital instrumentation and component field.

The company was founded in 1989 as a "GmbH" (comparable to "Corp." US). Our strengths are our extensive experience in the field of instrumentation, assembly and components, our broad product range with high synergies in customers, our strong customer base and customer loyalty, and our highly motivated and customer-oriented sales staff. We are offering unique sales services and localize product and marketing materials. The products we are offering are future-oriented and trend-setting and have a high technology quality.

Organization & Responsibilities

Management
One of the management's main tasks and duties is to prepare a balance sheet and an income statement on a monthly basis. These two statements provide the information that is necessary for the economic valuation of a company.
Furthermore management is obliged to prepare a cash flow that shows existing and required financ f8c ial resources. The management has to control the sales budget.
Moreover management is responsible for an optimal communication within the company, and for optimal working conditions. It is responsible for making decisions quickly and confidently, and has to assure its employees a future in the company and the achievement of self-realization for the benefit of the company and its employees. Additionally the management has to agree on optimal conditions with banks and suppliers.
Management has to take actively part in the sales process.

Sales
The sales managers are highly educated and have degrees in electronics, Dipl.Ing. (M.S.). They have a professional experience of at least three years.
The sales managers are responsible for existing and new customers. Sales managers have a technically knowledge to explain the products to the customers and demonstrate the products to fully meet the customer's need. For this purpose, demonstration equipment is available. This demonstration equipment is sold after six month to ensure availability of latest technology.

Sales managers focus on customers. They have an excellent knowledge about their customers and market developments.
Sales managers work on a forecast basis. They are responsible for their areas and receive a participation on bookings. Sales managers are supported through management, marketing and administration in order to conclude sales efficiently. They are responsible for developing new businesses within his area. Thus a strong cooperation between marketing and sales management is necessary.

  • Quarterly sales forecast

Marketing
Product and Marketing materials are localized for the German market. Information and advertising material include the supplier's prospects, brochures, leaflets, catalogues and data sheets. Various descriptions, catalogues and data sheets are translated into German in order to create a favourable impression and meet our customer's need.

Regular customers are informed about products, new items, prices and changes through targeted direct marketing activities which are sent on a regular basis.

Our products are showed on the following trade fairs: Electronica, Aerospace Testing, Automotive Testing.

Press releases about new and existing products are published regularly. The distribution department is responsible to deal with the resulting enquiries of customers. The marketing department is also responsible for application notes or white papers which are published by the trade press. In addition advertising campaigns are regularly published in the trade press. The main aim is to find new customers for existing products (Lead Generation).

Marketing managers have to keep product lines up to date. It is the marketing department's responsibility to discontinue a product line that is not saleable. Furthermore the marketing department has to take actively part in sales process, especially in areas with potentially large customers. Moreover it is responsible for the demonstration equipment and stock control. The marketing department reports to the management. Marketing and sales managers are strongly cooperating and control each other.

Service
CompuMess Elektronik GmbH also offers warranty and repair service. The service department performs repair work within a week or less. The needed spare parts are available in the service department
